“Next time, when I ask you to meet someone for assistance, send the draft to them by email and copy me so that I can see what they have taught you and I can verify it is okay as well. That is how you stay out of trouble. I thought you were a smart girl”.

Now, why hadn’t I thought of that? Had I become too trusting in this office that I forgot to always cover my end?

“And get ready. You will join us for our meeting with Mr. Olusesan on Monday. You might as well apologize in person and start learning how he likes things done on his project,” my team leader said, as she turned to face her PC again, “One more slip up and you will move your desk to the janitors closet.”

“Yes ma”.
